SIP Calculator — Free Online Tool
A SIP calculator estimates how much a Systematic Investment Plan can grow when you invest a fixed amount every month in a mutual fund. Enter your monthly instalment, the annual return you expect and the number of years, and the tool shows the maturity value, the total amount you put in and the estimated gains, along with a simple bar comparing invested money against returns. The calculation uses the standard future-value formula for an annuity due, with the annual rate divided by twelve and each instalment assumed to be invested at the start of the month. This makes it easy to compare scenarios, such as whether raising your SIP by one thousand rupees or staying invested for five more years makes a bigger difference. Because equity mutual fund returns are never guaranteed, treat the output as a projection rather than a promise. Many investors try conservative, moderate and optimistic rates, for example 8, 12 and 15 percent, to understand the range of possible outcomes. The results do not account for exit loads, expense ratio changes, taxes on capital gains or step-up increases in your instalment. Everything runs inside your browser, no data is stored, and you can adjust the inputs as often as you like.
Use our SIP Calculator on AllConvertor — no registration, no download, works on iPhone, Android, Windows, and Mac. All processing runs in your browser when possible for maximum privacy and speed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the SIP maturity amount calculated?
The calculator uses the future value of an annuity due: FV = P × [((1 + i)^n − 1) / i] × (1 + i), where P is the monthly instalment, i is the annual rate divided by 12 and 100, and n is the total number of months.
What return rate should I enter for a SIP?
Long-term equity funds have historically delivered roughly 10-14% a year in India, but returns vary widely. Try a conservative, a moderate and an optimistic rate to see a realistic range instead of relying on one number.
Are the SIP results guaranteed?
No. Mutual fund returns are market-linked and fluctuate. This calculator gives an estimate based on a constant annual return, so actual maturity value can be higher or lower.
Does the calculator include tax or expense ratio?
No. Figures are before taxes, exit load and any change in expense ratio. Subtract applicable long-term or short-term capital gains tax to estimate your post-tax corpus.
Is a SIP better than a lump sum investment?
A SIP spreads purchases over time, which averages your buying price and removes the need to time the market. A lump sum can do better in a steadily rising market, but SIPs suit regular salaried investors.
